Tonewood CB 45T Tenor Banjo which Jonny our banjo specialist reckons is the best value tenor on the market to day at tis price
The Tonewood DB-45 Tenor Banjo is wonderful…. Let me tell you a little about its quality…. 24 chromed tensioners hold the chrome plated tension hoop over a frosted Weatherking banjo head which in turn sits on a ¾” ply maple rim. Under the head is a rolled brass tone ring. Via a chromed flange plate the fully bound high gloss mahogany resonator with double concentric ring inlays, attaches to the body with 4 traditional thumb screws which in turn covers the twin chrome co-ordinator rods. Once again the banjo neck is mahogany with an ornate mother of pearl inlay into a rosewood finger board. The 19 fret neck is fully bound in an ivory colour with position black dot markers at frets 1,3,5,7,10,12,15,17 and 19. Also within the neck construction is an adjustable truss rod which is protected by a 3 screw bell shaped truss rod cover. Complete with chrome plated armrest which is secured on a single bracket, planetary geared machines boasting white pearl buttons, 5/8” 3 footed maple ebony tipped bridge and a Waverly style Banjo Tailpiece chrome plated, featuring front notches for fast string installation, string tension screw with attachment attachment bolt and nut. A big ringing banjo at a very low price.
