Shaw Alto G Whistle

Having a conical bore formed with a rolled nickel construction with a wooden fipple give the Shaw whistle a soft warm sound with consistent intonation. These whistles are all voiced by hand ensuring a wonderfully distinctive and breathy sound and constant playability across the range.
The Shaw Alto G is a great stepping stone before the big jump up to a Low Whistle. Perhaps they take a little more air/breath than comparable Alto G's, but the sound produced is rich and flute like. The Shaw Alto G may take a little more air than some other brands but the sound is rich and reminiscent of the flute however it is recognised as a really good platform to build upon before the transition to the full low D
