The first dozen or so tunes are great for the out and out absolute beginner. These are followed by tunes you will hear played by pub sessions players, ceilidh bands and morris musicians. Mally has identified the easier traditional tunes and written them in clear easy to follow notation. Only 14 notes are required to play every tune in the book - a great collection to build a repertoire for the beginner or more experienced musician.
