Melodeon - Mastering the Art with John Spiers - Tuition DVD

John Spiers happily squeezed a day at The Music Room into his schedule of touring, recording and winning prestigious folk awards!
On Sunday 25th November at The Music Room in Cleckheaton we held a master class given by the renowned D/G Melodeon virtuoso John Spiers. The master class was filmed for a DVD release in early 2008.
John is known to us all as half of English folk music’s mighty duo Spiers and Boden as well as adding his unique melodeon and concertina style to both Bellowhead and The Ratcatchers, with Eliza Carthy. John has taken traditional squeezebox styles, honed in his early days playing morris tunes, and blended them with his knowledge of contemporary dance music.
