YEs its true a 5 string banj starter pack at 25% off
The design of this Ozark Banjo has been influenced by the pre-war Gibson Mastertone models. The rock maple and heavy chrome plated tone ring are of such a quality that this banjo rings out with a loud, bright clear tone. Every banjo that leaves us is set up for either G,D,A,E drop Irish tuning or if you prefer C,G,D.A Jazz Tenor tuning. We fit our very own Redwing Phosphor Bronze and plain steel strings as standard but nickel strings can be supplied if you prefer. Either way session or stage work is an absolute walk in the park for this Ozark 2141 tenor banjo. A quality 3 ply 11” x ¾” maple rim holds the heavy 1.58kg Mastertone style, flat top brass bell bronze tone ring in place. As with genuine Gibson banjos the tone ring is drilled and 24 tension hooks complete the assembly along with a clamshell tailpiece A flamed maple tiger tail veneered resonator is held onto the banjo through the flange with 4 chrome plated thumb screws. The banjo resonator is highly polished and has 3 Ivory/Black rings as well as full binding to give an attractive finish. Double Gibson style Lag bolts and coordinator rods hold the neck to the body. The neck itself is 2 piece solid Maple with a center ebony veneer and integral truss rod. Unlike some would have you believe this is a 19 fret instrument with a rosewood fingerboard Width At Nut: 30.50mm (1.200”) Weight Approx: 5.3kg (11.8lbs)
