A really nice quality fretless 5 string bass from the Aria stable. The use of ash for the body gives an extra zingy richness when required, although we generally have this model strung with halfround strings for more warmth and mwaah! Ash also has a visually stunning grain pattern. The IGB series basses are deceptively compact, but make no mistake, these are full-scale, full-on basses. The Active Bypass and Coil Split switches give access to instant tone changes, and the active 3-band circuit gives fine control over the switched-in tone. Dot markers on the side of the unlined fretless fingerboard mean you have a reference point for intonation - go on, lose the fear! specs Body: Ash Carved Top Neck: Maple, Bolt-on with 5-bolt joint Fingerboard: Rosewood Number of Frets: None! Scale Length: 860mm (34 inches) Pickup: MBH-5 Humbucking x 1 Controls: Volume, Active Bass, Middle, Treble; Coil split switch, Active Bypass Switch Hardware: Matt Silver Finish: Stained Nato (STNA)
