The B/C system Melodeon, (sometimes called a "button accordion" in Ireland) is fully chromatic on the right hand and is therefore a versatile system suitable for many styles of music. The Hohner "Double Ray" (also known as the "Black Dot") is similar in appearance to the Erica melodeon, almost exclusively available in a Red finish only.

In B/C or C#/D this melodeon is favoured by many Irish style players. The bass keys are suitable for all tunes played in D, G or A (In other words, this melodeon is great for Irish and Scottish traditional music!)
