Almost 23 years ago Author, Melodeon Maestro and traditional music book publisher Dave Mallinson (author of "The D/G Melodeon Absolute Beginners" - Quick Find Code 5272) went together with one of the partners at The Music Room to Italy. Their goal was to find a light melodeon with power and positive melodeon fingerboard action.
20 or so melodeon manufacturers later the shortlist was headed and eventually won by the Dino Baffetti Black Pearl II melodeon.
