The Pot Assembly
The CB-15/T has a 12 inch "rim" or "Pot" is of a sturdy laminated construction and it has 18 brackets as opposed to the usual 12 found on many entry level banjos.
This allows the head to be tightened relatively evenly and therefore less prone to head failure.
The banjo head is the industry standard 12" Remo "Weather King".
The bridge is a good quality 3 footed 5/8" Maple bridge with a Rosewood cap.
The adjustable tail piece is of a simple yet functional design which when correctly adjusted will create sufficient "over Bridge" tension and in turn optimum tone.
The Neck
The 19 fret Mahogany neck has a Rosewood fingerboard and is held in place with a Lag Bolt and a single co-ordinator rod which can be manipulated to raise or lower string height.
The traditional "Fiddle Cut" headstock has reliable side facing geared tuners with white pearloid buttons.
